Ronald Campbell
Ronald T. Campbell of Hampton, New Hampshire is a professional writer and photographer whose lifelong hobby is studying history. He has explored many North American battlefields, including Antietam, Appomattox, Atlanta, Chancellorsville, Fort Niagara, Fort Ticonderoga, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Harper’s Ferry, Manassas (Bull Run), Monocacy, New Market, Petersburg (The Crater), Richmond, Valley Forge, and Yorktown.
Ron writes a blog called Walk Portsmouth about seacoast New Hampshire that features past and present photographs of historic homes and buildings. His EBook about Portsmouth is called Historic Portsmouth, NH Walking Tour.
His photographs have appeared online in NowPublic news articles, the Schmap guides, and Home & Abroad. The March 2009 edition of Britain at War magazine included his photo of the Sopwith Camel at London’s Imperial War Museum.
